What to Expect During the Lion Encounter
Guided by our experienced and knowledgeable staff, you’ll venture into the heart of the reserve, where you’ll meet and walk with our resident lions. Important Guidelines for Participants
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, as well as the well-being of our lions, we have established specific guidelines for the Lion Encounter:
- Height Restriction: Participants must be at least 1.5 meters tall. This policy is strictly enforced, and carrying children on the back, neck, or shoulders is not permitted.
- Personal Belongings: Bags, purses, backpacks, and similar items are not allowed during the walk.
- Attire: Wear fitted clothing and secure footwear. Avoid loose or flowing garments, ensure shoelaces are tied, and refrain from wearing animal prints.
- Accessories: Sunglasses are not permitted during the encounter.
- Behaviour: Maintain calm and normal movements; running or jumping is prohibited. Do not bend or kneel in front of the lions.
- Communication: Speak quietly and calmly. Feel free to ask questions, but always follow the guides’ directions.
- Safety Acknowledgment: All participants must sign an indemnity form before joining the walk.
